A special website and login bonuses celebrate the game’s upcoming Two-Year Anniversary

TOKYO—August 12, 2021—DeNA Co., Ltd., in partnership with The Pokémon Company, has announced the addition of Sygna Suit Leon & Eternatus as the first sync pair with the ability to Dynamax in Pokemon Masters EX. First introduced in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, Dynamax is the ability for a Pokémon to drastically increase its size during battle and receive a boost to their power. In Pokémon Masters EX, a sync pair can Dynamax one time per battle, at which point it can use a devastating attack called a max move. Sygna Suit Leon & Eternatus’s max move is called Eternabeam and deals heavy damage to the opponent while refreshing the player’s move gauge.

The Dragon-type sync pair of Sygna Suit Leon & Eternatus can be added to players’ teams via the Sygna Suit Leon Poké Fair Scout, available from now until September 15 at 10:59 p.m. Pacific Time. This sync pair will come with its sync grid expanded and can reach a 6★EX Potential rating, which increases the strength of their sync move and provides them with an additional optional outfit to wear.

Legendary Event: Add Hop & Zamazenta: Players will be able to add the Steel-type sync pair of Hop & Zamazenta to their teams by completing the Legendary Event, Howling Shield of Eternity. In this event, players will join Galar Trainers Gloria, Hop, and Leon, as they face off against the Legendary Pokémon Eternatus, who arrives on the island of Pasio via a crashing meteor. Players can earn in-game rewards like 5★-Guaranteed Scout Tickets by completing battles in this event. Howling Shield of Eternity will be available from now until September 15 at 10:59 p.m. Pacific Time for players who have completed Chapter 1 of the Main Story.

Gloria & Zacian Return: Players will have another chance to add the Steel-type sync pair of Gloria & Zacian to their teams via the Gloria Poké Fair Scout, available from August 15 at 11:00 p.m. Pacific Time until September 1 at 10:59 p.m. Pacific Time. This sync pair can deploy moves like Behemoth Blade, an extremely powerful attack that consumes four out of a possible six units of the move gauge. Savvy players can strategize by using this resource-intensive move in conjunction with Move Gauge Boost, which replenishes the move gauge.
