Pull on your leg warmers and get ready for a trip back into the 80s
Epic Llama Studio have just announced that the Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming point-and-click adventure title Unusual Findings has launched. The funding from the Kickstarter campaign will be used to bring Unusual Findings to additional platforms, including Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 4 and 5. Any additional stretch goals will allow the team to expand the game with new scenes, mini-games and more.
Unusual Findings has players joining three teenagers – Vinny, Nick and Tony – as they uncover a strange number of mysteries going on right under their noses. One night, when trying to decrypt a pay per view adult channel, as teenagers do, they pick up the distress signal of an alien spaceship. The teens soon discover that that’s not the only weird thing happening in their town.
Get ready to feel like you’ve jumped right into the 80s as Unusual Findings takes inspiration from teen adventure movies like The Goonies, Monster Squad and The Lost Boys. Gameplay will remind point-and-click fans of the likes of Monkey Island or Grim Fandango. Players will have to visit the game’s different 80s-inspired locations, solve puzzles and make difficult choices that will affect their friendship and the entire story. Those looking for a hit of nostalgia are sure to fall in love with this wacky, spooky, out of this world story.

About Epic Llama:
Epic LLama is an indie game company from Cordoba, Argentina. The team has been making games for over ten years (a lot of flash browser games were made in our early years, such as browser arena-RPG Champions Of Chaos 1 and 2, puzzle/strategy game Bro Team and the notoriously tough Rodriguez Revenge) with exceptional love to their work and the game industry itself. Thanks to Darkestville Castle the team had an opportunity to meet Ron Gilbert in person and see him play the game. Hernan Lopez, Epic LLama warchief, says: “It was so awesome to see one of our game industry heroes actually enjoy and laugh at our stupid game jokes”.
