Elements, Massive Open-World Adventure from Indie Pub Apogee, Revealed for PC and Console in Q4 2022

Breath of the Wild, Rainbow Six Star Patricia Summersett to Voice Lead Heroine Nyah

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEHalifax, Nova Scotia — August 18, 2021 —Elements, the vibrant, go-anywhere adventure of a sister and brother fulfilling their destiny, comes to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam for PC Q4 2022. Developer Wreckit Games and legendary publisher Apogee Entertainment announce lead heroine Nyah will be brought to life by Patricia Summersett, acclaimed actress behind Rainbow Six: Siege (Ash), Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate (Galina), and the beloved Princess Zelda in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
Across Elemythia, a vast, verdant land of sword, sorcery, and secrets, eight enchanted Elemental Stones hold the key to saving Nyah and Beckett’s home. Accept your calling as either sibling, playing solo or drop-in co-op. Reclaim the eight Elemental Stones—and their powers of Light, Dark, Fire, Water, Ice, Nature, Earth, and Air—from the powerful guardians who now wield them for their selfish designs.
On the journey, explore every corner of a beautifully stylized open world. Climb snowy mountains, swim to the depths of glimmering lakes, and brave fiery plains in search of new challenges. Keep a sharp sword and sharp mind—perplexing puzzles hide the realm’s best secrets, and monsters can be defeated through many creative approaches, from skillful swordplay to magical mastery.
In Elements, young Nyah and Beckett will find their destiny in a bold adventure of each player’s making. Each Elemental Stone recovered will bestow legendary gear with powerful traits and new magical abilities. Craft equipment to enhance combat strength, or find leisure in life by building a homestead, where the siblings can farm, store items, or simply relax. After all, a tough road through the wild awaits. Take nothing for granted. Learn from failure. Leave the world better than you found it.
“When I first saw Elements, I was struck by Devon’s vision of a touching odyssey with important life lessons to impart,” said Summersett. “As an artist, I’m attracted to stories about optimism and brightness, and I can’t wait to imbue Nyah with those qualities.”
“As a parent, I’ve always looked for games to experience with my children and worlds we could enjoy together,” said Devon Parsons, founder of Wreckit Games. “With Elements, I get to make that world to get lost in with my kids. I hope other parents and players everywhere find similar value in this game that welcomes and rewards ingenuity and perseverance.”

About Apogee EntertainmentApogee Software’s pioneering journey began in 1987, when Scott Miller decided to split his new game, Kingdom of Kroz, into three episodes, with the first episode available as free shareware. The “Apogee model” of distribution revolutionized PC gaming at the time and catapulted Apogee Software to global renown. As an indie publisher, Apogee (and it’s later incarnation, 3D Realms) would introduce the world to id Software, Remedy Entertainment, Parallax Software, and other video game superstars in the making. As a developer, Apogee would innovate and inspire in equal measure, creating treasured characters and franchises like Duke Nukem, Max PayneShadow Warrior, and Prey en route to earning over a billion dollars. The new Apogee Entertainment, with founder Scott Miller and longtime partner Terry Nagy at the helm, will empower today’s incredibly talented indie developers, paving the way for their global success with innovative ideas, cutting-edge marketing, and the same fearlessness that changed the industry.
